Douglas Willard Josephson

September 29, 1941 - May 6, 2021

Douglas Josephson, age 79 passed away May 6, 2021 with family members and friends by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister. Doug was born at Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Bernice and Willard Josephson. He is survived by two brothers, Tom (Pat) and Jerry (Susan) Kyander and one sister, Carol (Tom) Magnuson of Minnesota. Doug served in the United States Army in Japan and Korea. He was united in marriage with Patricia Annan Josephson in 1962. He was the father of two daughters, Stephanie Josephson and Jennifer (Jeremy) Davis of Wichita, KS. Doug graduated from Topeka Business College and then moved to the Kansas City area and worked at KU Medical Center. Later he moved to Wichita, KS, then Seattle, WA with Bank of America managing an Information Technology team. In 2001, he retired and moved to Severy, KS. He was active flying in ultra-lights and small planes with good friend Larry Houtz. He also enjoyed traveling for work, hunting and fishing in all areas of the U.S. and Canada. Per Doug’s request, cremation will take place with no services planned.
