Euvone V. Lee

March 20, 1933 - November 21, 2019

Euvone Vivian Lee, age 86, formerly of Chanute, KS, passed away peacefully November 21, 2019 in Topeka, KS with her loving family by her side. Euvone was born on March 20, 1933 in Haskell, OK, the daughter of Earnest and Faye (Edwards) Arthur. She graduated from Caruthers Union High School with the class of 1952. On January 28, 1956 Euvone married R.C. Lee in Topeka, KS. Euvone and R.C. were blessed with three daughters; Paula, Pamela, and Patricia. R.C. preceded her in death July 8, 1982. In 1972 Euvone and R.C. founded Supreme Trailers in Chanute, KS. Following the sale of Supreme Trailers, Euvone began working as the office manager for the Chanute Country Club, retiring in 1993. Euvone is survived by: Daughters: Paula K Phillips and husband Randall of Fort Scott, KS Pamela L Rubow and F.M. Jeanes of Topeka, KS Patricia R West and husband Troy of Kingwood, TX Seven Grandchildren: Ryan Rubow and wife Megan, Topeka, KS Ashlee Ables and husband Andrew, of Fort Scott, KS Dr Jason Phillips and wife Sarah, Nebraska City, NE Michael Rubow, Eudora, KS Kaylee Salisbury and husband Tate, St. Louis, MO Chloe West, Denton, TX Josiah West, Kingwood, TX Five Great-Grandchildren: Gabriel Rubow, Caroline Phillips, Eleanor Phillips, Everett Phillips and Harper Ables Sister: Wanda Orum of Kingsburg, CA Brother-in-Law: Ralph Lee and wife Margie of Humboldt, KS Many nieces and nephews Euvone was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings Paul, Chester, Maxine, Joe, Norma, Floyd, and Barbara. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 10-11 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home, Johnson Chapel at 101 N. Highland, Chanute, KS. Pastor Rick Burwick will conduct funeral services at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Chanute, KS at a later date. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com. In lieu of flowers, the Family suggests memorials to be made to 360 Kids Academy and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
