Gloria Pearl Smith, 60, of Chanute passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at the Diversicare Health Center. Gloria was born on July 22, 1960 in California the daughter of Ray Smith and Ruby Cox. After high school, Gloria was eager to learn, and continued on with college to receive a broad spectrum of education. Gloria enjoyed going to church whenever she could, and going out to eat with her family. Trips to Wal Mart was a favorite pass time along with watching TV, spending time with her dog “Lizard”, and playing a little side game of pool. Gloria is survived by: Siblings: Tammy Shearin and husband Eric of Chanute Janet Isaac of Springfield, MO Nieces and nephews: Marty Ryan, Michael Ryan, Monica Davidson and Monty Isaac. Glorial was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Ray Smith. Cremation has been requested, with no services planned at this time. Memorials have been suggested to Neighbor to Neighbor and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
