Jerry Warren Ellis, 71 of Neodesha, died November 24, 2019 at his home. Jerry was born on March 1, 1948 in Mexico, MO, son of James Payne and Leslie Elizabeth (Hansbrough) Ellis. Jerry grew up on a farm, finished school, and went to college. In December of 1976 he joined the US Army and served until December of 1980. Jerry married Maria Jarosz on May 4, 1979 in Copenhagen Denmark. They were married 40 years and had 11 children together. Jerry enjoyed a lifelong dream of farming, and practiced mini-farming throughout his life. He was a brilliant salesman, an avid reader, and had a great love for politics. Jerry pursued a never ending avenue of entrepreneurial adventures. Of utmost importance was that he teach his children to thiMk, and become upstanding citizens in society. He was an excellent communicator; a real people person with a broad sense of humor. He loved his wife and family dearly and was loved in return by so many. Survivors include his wife, Maria, 5 sons: Jerry Ellis of TN James Ellis and wife Reagan of Canada John Ellis and wife Briana of Grove, OK Jordan Ellis and wife Kayla of Guthrie, OK Jedidiah Ellis of Grove, OK 4 daughters: Anna Guillaume of KS Ellen Bylock and husband David of Senoia, Georgia Catherine Ellis of Ft. Charlotte, FL Sarah Ellis of Grove, OK Brother: Jack Ellis and wife Evelyn of Liberal, KS 15 Grandchildren Many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jim Ellis, and 2 children McKenzie Faye Ellis and Autumn Rose Ellis.
