Robert "Bob" Cline

May 27, 1944 - January 13, 2021

Robert “Bob” Cline, age 76 of Fredonia, KS, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, KS. Bob was born May 27, 1944 in Wichita, KS to Robert and Ketha Cline. He grew up in Wichita alongside his siblings, Steve and Sherryl. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, and retired after serving his country for 20 years. While being stationed in Virginia, he met a young lady on a blind date. Their first date was in February, and on May 23, 1972, he married that young lady, Shirley Cullum. They were happily married 48 years. Since Bob was active duty, they moved wherever he was being stationed, and lived in Virginia, Missouri, and Texas, before he retired. They then moved to Grand Lake, and Joplin, MO before moving to Fredonia, KS in 1981. Bob loved being on the water, enjoyed antiquing with his wife, and treasured the long walks they would take together. He enjoyed being around his family whenever he could and loved just visiting with them. Bob is survived by his wife, Shirley Sister, Sherryl (Glen) Weber Aunt, Bonnie Cooke Nieces and Nephews Family kitty’s, Sambo and Whitty He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Steve Cline. Per his request, cremation has been requested with no services planned at this time. Memorial contributions can be made to the Fredonia Fire Department and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.
