Robert E. Dickerhoof

April 9, 1963 - June 3, 2019

Robert Eugene Dickerhoof, 56, went to be with his Lord on June 3, 2019 in Chanute KS. Rob was born April 9, 1963 in Modesto, California to George and Dorothy (Thornton) Dickerhoof. Rob moved to Chanute in 1967 with his parents and two siblings. Rob remained in Chanute through his school years and graduated from Chanute High School in 1981. Rob then continued his education in Manhattan, KS and graduated from Kansas State University with a business degree. Rob married the love of his life Stacy (Aday) Crawford on July 26, 1986 in Chanute where they made their home and raised their three children. Rob was an active member and deacon at First Baptist Church. He was employed by A-Lert Construction in Fredonia as a division controller. Rob was a loyal Royals and Chiefs fan, but the Kansas State Wildcats were his passion. Rob is survived by his Wife Stacy (Aday) Dickerhoof, Father and Mother George and Dorothy Dickerhoof, Brother Randal Dickerhoof, Sister Bonnie and her husband Jerry Williams, daughter Melissa and her husband Scott Stanley, sons Adam and his wife Sarah Aday, Matthew Dickerhoof and grandchildren Sebastian and Asher Aday. Rob was also blessed with nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Cremation has been requested. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Good News Center in Chanute, KS. A Celebration of Life Service will be on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the Good News Center. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com. The family suggests memorials to be made to the First Baptist Church Deacon Scholarship Fund and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 101 N. Highland, Chanute, KS 66720.
