Robert M. Glasgow
December 22, 1951 - October 2, 2019
Bobby Glasgow 67, went to be with the Lord on October 2, 2019 in the family home with his beloved Granddaughter at his side. Bobby was born on December 22, 1951 in Fredonia to Luther and Vada (Parker) Glasgow in his grandmothers home. He was a "jack of all trades" and he wouldn't say it but he was proud of his accomplishments. During his lifetime he had many jobs and whatever he was doing he devoted himself to that job. The one thing that he was most proud of was his time spent on the farm, raising cattle. He helped his Dad meet a goal he had had most of his life. The two of them could spend hours riding around and looking at the cows. After his Dad died he spent the same time with his most best friend Steve. Bobby really could do everything he was given, he once shingled a roof of a house all by himself. Bobby married Linda Engstrom, August 25, 1984 and to this union came Bonnie Jo and Leah Ann. He was always Daddy he didn't have to be but, he loved these two girls as if they were his own. Including his wife Linda, Bobby is survived by: Bonnie Odell (Sean) of Fredonia, Leah Johnson of Fredonia, his loved "adopted" son Kary Tatum of Fredonia, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, Willard Glasgow (June) of Meade, KS, Gary Glasgow of Fredonia and his "little brother" Steve Bush (Vickey) of Eskridge, KS, Lester Barker, Sr. of Avinger, TX, aunt Dorothy Chambers and Uncle John Parker of Fredonia. What does one say about a man who brought love and fun into a home that was in need. He leaves this family hurting for his lose but, we are remembering all those times when we were a full loving family and he now sides to the side of our precious Jesus. Cremation has been requested with a memorial service to be held at a later date. Memorials have been suggested to the American Cancer Society and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com Services entrusted to: Countryside Funeral Home 420 S. 20th St., P.O. Box 247, Fredonia, KS 66736
