It broke my heart to heart of Johnny Wayne's passing. He was my 1st crush, even though he was my cousin. All of us girl cousins thought he was so handsome. I was lucky enough to visit him at his place of business Candelrock in Kansas 2020. My brother Tom and I. It was a wonderful visit, he took us to a cute little cafe called Hilltop. We tried to make up for 40 years of not seeing each other. Wanted to get back to see him one more time.
Condolences to his family and friends, he will be missed greatly.

I was so sorry to hear of Johnny Wayne's passing. He was a sweet cousin, always ready to share a sweet smile. His mother and my mother were sisters. The last time I saw him was at a family reunion in Louisiana a few years ago, which was such a treat that he came all that way to see his mom's family. My mother, Edith, was especially thrilled because she hadn't seen him in many years. I have a lot of fond childhood memories of Johnny Wayne coming around and being so nice to us younger cousins when we would gather in Arkansas. He was always smiling. I also always enjoyed seeing him when I would visit his mom, my precious Aunt Rudy, in Lake Village, where he lived next door to her. Johnny and I are cousins, his mother (Ruby) and my mother (Patsy) are sisters. Johnny and I didn’t spend a lot of time together but I love ❤️ him like a brother. God Bless all of his kids and his brother Ricky.
