The Countryside Funeral Home difference
“After a very disappointing funeral for our Mother, we were concerned about our father's, Glenn Wrestler, prearranged services. Following that time, Josh Shoppe has taken over as the director. We were extremely pleased with the care and compassion Josh showed to our family. He was very professional and very dedicated to making sure Dad was taken care of. He did an exceptional job in preparing Dad for the service, and making sure our questions and concerned were addressed. Thank you Josh for exceptional services!”

“Worked with a lady in pre-planning our mother's service. When she passed, we worked with the most awesome man!!! He made a terrible day tolerable. Wasn't pushy, he listened, went above and beyond, in my opinion. Won't go anywhere else in the future!!”

“The best funeral home out there. They have done my dad's funeral and now my brother's funeral. They are the kindest people ever and did such an excellent job on my brother and his homegoing celebration was perfect. they went out of their way contacting the University of Texas and the NBA and got permission to have the Texas and Brooklyn Nets logos on my brother's headstone. I would and am recommending them 100% for any family that wants that personal touch and care with their family member. Shout out to the Chanute team for everything”

“Randy and the staff at Countryside Funeral Home went above and beyond in handling the arrangements for my mother’s burial. My brother and I were unable to be with her before she was laid to rest due to out of country and illness reasons which prevented us from traveling. I had full confidence that she was in wonderful caring hands to prepare her for her final resting place next to her loving husband who had preceded her in death. In tough emotional times it’s nice that people like Randy step in and take some of the burden off our shoulders so that we can properly morn our losses.”
