Adam Christopher Weiner's Obituary
Adam Christopher Weiner, 45, passed peacefully, February 19 at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. He was born June 26, 1971 to Gregory Martin and Mary Ellen (Walker) Weiner in Chanute, KS.
Adam grew up and attended school in Springfield, MO. He married Rebecca Reser and they later divorced. In Springfield, he was employed by Associated Wholesale Grocers, Home Depot, and Lowe’s. After relocating to Chanute, he worked as assistant manager at Ron’s IGA and G&W Foods. Most recently, he worked for Russel Stover’s for 13 years. He enjoyed country music, fishing, hunting, the Kansas Jayhawks, Kansas City Royals, Dallas Cowboys, his horses, and spending time with family and friends.

Adam was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eldron and Bethel (Coon) Walker; paternal grandparents, Carl Weiner, Elise (Weiner) Merkin and step-grandfather, Bryan Merkin; father, Gregory Martin Weiner; and brother, Gregory M. Weiner.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Central Park Pavillion in Chanute.
