Alan Leon Martin's Obituary
Alan Leon Martin, 44, of Neodesha, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026. Alan was born on September 29, 1981, in Neodesha, KS., the son of Aron Lee and Linda Sue (Anderes) Martin.
Alan was a skilled welder and crane operator whose strong work ethic and talent in the trades earned him the respect of those who worked alongside him. He took great pride in his work and known for his ability to tackle any challenge with determination and skill.
Outside of work, Alan found his greatest joy in the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman who cherished time spent in nature. Whether he was in the woods, on the water, or sharing stories with family and friends, Alan lived life with passion and appreciation for the simple things.
Those who knew Alan will remember his generous heart and willingness to help anyone in need. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. Mare than anything, Alan loved his family. He was a devoted father who deeply loved his children and worked hard to provide for them.
Alan is survived by his wife Kelsey, their children Kadence (14), Jaicey (12) and Eli (11). His parents Aron and Linda Martin, his grandmother Joann Martin, and his brothers Matthew Martin and wife Jennifer, and Timothy Martin. Alan was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ed Martin, Melvin Anderes and Sylvia Anderes.
Alan's legacy of hard work, generosity, strength, and love for his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Though his time here was far too short, the memories he created and the lives touched will never be forgotten.

Cremation has been requested with a Celebration of Life service to be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia. Memorials in his memory have been suggested to the Children's Educational Fund that has been established at the Community National Bank. Memorials may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
