Family,
My sister Jola called to wish Me a happy birthday and informed Me about Alice and some of Jola's memories of Her. She was in Alice's Class of 60 and I saw many of their classmates at the funeral.
Jola's coments:
Alice had the greatest slumber parties ever. She was always great fun to be around. Sis mentioned the many water skiing events they all took part in under Father Eck's direction. She mentioned Johnny and when He and Alice were dating.
I never got to know Alice that well as I was away in college, working, and doing sports at Coffeyville Juco. Sorry! I did get to know Johnny fairly well even though He went to Coyville Schools. We served Mass together. We served one of his sister's wedding and sneaked some beer at the reception at the Ranch.

Mom (Suann Bolton) use to haul us 4 girls to Alice for perms and haircuts. We'd take turns sitting at the kitchen table getting our hair done while Alice and mom chatted. She'd have cartoons on for us and drinks in the fridge. Great lady!

Memories....Sharon...working with Alice at the Bon Ton Beauty Shop during the summers of our high school years.
Ron......his mother & Alice's mother put them on the Ferris wheel (Fredonia Homecoming) when they were 5 or 6 yr's old. Both were eating cotton candy & somehow Ron got cotton candy in Alice's hair.
We both just remember Alice as a fun-loving person.

Such a nice and sweet lady. I remember seeing her at church growing up in Fredonia. Always had a warm smile for others. 💛Thinking of the Eck family.
