Alpha M. Johnson's Obituary
Alpha A. Johnson, of Howard, KS, age 86, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka. Alpha was born January 10, 1923, one of seven children to Joseph L. and Polly (Parrott) Johnson.
Alpha was a graduate of Inola, Oklahoma High School. In 1940 she married Johnny M. Johnson. Alpha worked occasionally as a substitute teacher; however she mostly worked at her home, taking care of her family. Alpha and Johnny were married for 38 years until his death in August of 1979.
Alpha enjoyed all types of outdoor activities, such as camping, fishing and skiing with her family. She is remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Pauline Stout of Lathrop, CA
6 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Ronald D. Johnson, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Cremation has been requested, the family plans to have a memorial service at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions to the: Howard Area Lions International or Alzheimer’s disease and Related Disorders and may be left with the funeral home.
