Alvin E. Robinson's Obituary
Alvin E. Robinson age 90 of Coyville, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Medical Lodges in Independence. Alvin was born on October 1, 1927, in Florence, KS, the son of William Taylor and Fay Marie (Stovall) Robinson.
On September 24, 1949 in El Dorado, KS, Alvin married Sarah Jane Horney. Alvin and Sarah Jane were married for 67 years until her death of February 26, 2017. Alvin was a farmer and rancher all his life, and took great joy in watching his cattle. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Fredonia. Alvin was a founding member of the Rural Water District 11 and served on the board for more than 40 years. Alvin was a huge supporter of the Coyville Community Center. Alvin enjoyed going out to eat on Saturday night and visiting with all of their friends. Sunday evening was his true enjoyment as the entire family got together for family meals. Most of all, Alvin enjoyed being with his family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.

12 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren
Alvin was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sarah Jane, brother Gerald Robinson
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 2, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia, with burial to follow at Fredonia City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
