Amy Nicole Darby's Obituary
On this day, March 16th My Beautiful Wife, Amy Nicole Darby, was called home to Heaven. Amy was born in Emporia, Ks on March 12, 1993 to Carol Ann Selby (key) and Donald Eugene Selby.
Amy Grew up in Hamilton, Kansas, where she attended grade school and a short time in High School. Amy later attended Fredonia High School. Amy loved English class and playing volleyball. After High School, Amy decided to work as a CNA where she continued to work in the field until she got Sick on June 10, 2019. Amy loved to do things like, go on long walks on the beach, country drives and also loved to to travel with her husband and kids. They traveled many places in the Semi. Places like New York, Florida, North Dakota and many other fantastic places, but their favorite place of all was Galveston, Texas. Amy always took advantage of the opportunity to travel. Amy was the most loving and caring person always putting family before anything.
Amy is survived by her husband Kenneth Darby, Father Donald Selby, Her Sisters Debbie Anderson and Amanda Camp, Eight Children and her Cousin-Best Friend Jessica Patterson (Selby). Amy was the baby of the family.
Amy was preceded in death by her mother Carol Ann Selby (key) and Aunt Ellen Thron. Amy loved everyone with her whole heart and had many wonderful years with them. Amy may be gone but will never be forgotten. Amy's first marriage was to Jimmy Carl Shinn, whom they were blessed with two beautiful kids, Allyson Shinn, and Lavdyn Shinn. Amy was later married to Kenneth Darby on 8-29-15, and again were blessed with two more beautiful children Rylie Darby and Rylan Darby. This union made a total of four step children whom Amy loved as her own. Meghann Darby, Kelsey Darby, Konner Darby and Khloe Darby. This was such a love and caring union like no other.
