Andrew James "Andy" Finley's Obituary
Andrew James Finley “Hank” age 54, of Chanute, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 at his residence in Chanute. Andy was born November 27, 1959 in Chanute, KS the son of Dorrell and Kathryn (Casebolt) Finley.
Andy attended school in Chanute, and graduated from Chanute High School. He married Debbie Vogel in 1983, they later divorced.
Andy worked for the city of Chanute, and was the foreman of Sanitation. He loved fishing, gardening, golf, and riding his Harley motorcycle.
He is survived by his mother; Kathryn Finley, son; Larry Finley and Wife Abbey and grand-puppies Sadie and Paxton of Milford, KS, daughter; Holly Finley and boyfriend Tray of Chanute, KS, brothers; Mike Finley and wife Cindy, Randy Finley and wife Janice, Tim Finley and wife Michelle, Danny Finley and wife Deena all of Chanute, KS, uncle; Rolen “Unc” Casebolt and wife Eva, and numerous nieces and nephews who he loved very much.
Andy is preceded in death by his father, Dorrell Finley.
Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2014 11:00 a.m., at the First United Methodist Church in Chanute, KS. Visitation will be Monday July 7, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home Johnson Chapel. Family suggests memorials to Cherry St. Youth Center and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Countryside Funeral Home Johnson Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
