Andrew Taylor Still II, D.O.'s Obituary
Andrew Taylor Still D.O., age 90, a resident of rural Longton, Kansas passed away Sunday, August 15, 2010 at the Iola Nursing Center in Iola, Kansas. He was born on March 17, 1920 in Kirksville, Missouri the son of Fred and Blanch (McGinnis) Still.
Andrew was united in marriage in 1942 to Joyce Page in Kirksville, Missouri and she preceded him in death. During World War II Andrew served as 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army. Andrew was a Doctor of Osteopathic in Pebble Beach, California, Tulsa, Oklahoma and Macon, Missouri.
He is survived by two sons Andrew T. Still III of Iola, Kansas and Fred Still of Longton, Kansas. Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joyce and one brother Harry Still.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at the Longton Cemetery with Pastor David Sanchez officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Allen County Hospice and may be left with the funeral home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.countrysidefh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Zimmerman Funeral Home in Howard, Kansas.
