Anna Mae Eaton's Obituary
Anna M. Eaton, age 86, a resident of Wichita, Kansas and formerly of Fall River, Kansas passed away Monday, January 21, 2013 at the Sandpiper Bay Health Care Center. She was born on May 6, 1926 in Douglass, Kansas the daughter of James and Maggie Mae Bledsoe.
On June 8, 1944 Anna was united in marriage to Edward M. Eaton Sr. For many years she was the bookkeeper for their family heating and plumbing business. Anna was a member of the Tyler Road Baptist Church in Wichita and she attended the Fall River Baptist Church. She was involved in bible study at both churches and she enjoyed gardening and reading.
Anna is survived by one son James Eaton and his wife Debbie of Moselle, Mississippi, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward Eaton Sr., one son Edward Eaton Jr., and one daughter Roberta Yurkiewicz.
Per Anna’s wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Douglass Cemetery. Family suggests contributions be made to the Sandpiper Bay Health Care Center and may be sent to the funeral home. Online condolence may be left for the family at www.countrysidefh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Countryside-Zimmerman Funeral Home in Howard, Kansas.
