Anna Marie Whitehead's Obituary
Anna Marie Whitehead, age 69 of Fredonia, died August 14, 2018 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. Anna was born July 14, 1949 in Independence, KS the daughter of Glenn and Stella (Schwatken) Rentfro.
Anna had worked 20 plus years as a bus driver for Fredonia School USD 484. Anna loved being outside, she was an avid bow hunter and enjoyed fishing, she was a 30 year plus member of the Kansas Bow Hunter Association, she loved working with children and 4-H events. Anna owned and operated the Flower Basket in Fredonia for more than 10 years, she also cooked and managed various restaurants. Most of all she loved being with her family.
On July 12, 1968, Anna married Marvin D. Whitehead in LaFontaine. Anna and Marvin just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Marvin survives at their home.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 10:00 AM until noon at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia. The family will then meet friends at the Sacred Heart Catholic Hall after visitation to Celebrate Anna’s life.
