Anna "Polly" Pauline Jenkins' Obituary
Anna Paulina “Polly” Jenkins, age 87, died Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Girard Medical Center. Polly was born on April 18, 1926 in Lafontaine the daughter of Claude William and Mary (McKinney) Tindle.
Polly was a graduate of Fredonia High School. Polly was a member of the First Christian Church in Fredonia. Polly worked for 41 years at Fredonia Regional Hospital in the Accounts Payable department. In her spare time she enjoyed playing the accordion and the piano. She loved to sew and make her own clothes, she also enjoyed talking to her family and friends on the telephone.
On June 14, 1947 in Neodesha, Polly married Houston Jenkins. Polly and Houston were married for 47 years until his death of September 15, 1994.

Polly was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters Maxine Likes, Bethel Cade and Mary Lou Ingle and 1 brother Joe Tindle.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 8, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at the First Christian Church in Fredonia with Mike Jeffers officiating, visitation will be held one hour prior to service time with burial to follow at the Weakley Cemetery. Memorials have been suggested to the First Christian Church in Fredonia, and may be left with the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
