Anthony Wayne Beard's Obituary
Anthony Wayne Beard, “Tonyâ€, age 46, of Fredonia, KS, died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Friday, September 28, 2007. He was born on August 31, 1961 in Fredonia, KS, the son of Stephan and Judith Ann (Crain) Beard.
Tony graduated from Fredonia High School in 1980, and was a member of the First Christian Church in Fredonia. He currently worked for Cobalt Boats in Neodesha and had been employed there for the past 20 years. He loved his music, and was the lead singer in the band Heartland.
Besides being dedicated to his son and supporting him in all of his sports activities during school, Tony devoted more than 10 years of helping other kids, as a coach to the Fredonia Wrestling Club. In his spare time, he liked to build model cars.
On May 19, 1985 he married Dixie White of Fredonia.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith who passed away in May of 2003, a sister, Tracy Leann Beard and a brother Eric Sean Beard.
Cremation has taken place, a graveside memorial service will be Wednesday October 3, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the Fredonia City Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Fredonia Wrestling Club. Arrangements are under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home, P.O. Box 247, Fredonia, Kansas.
