Arles Lee Willey's Obituary
Arles Lee Willey, age 67, of Chanute, KS passed away November 29, 2014 at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center. Arles was born July 7, 1947 at Stroud, OK, the son of Alvin W. and Claney C. (Smith) Willey.
Arles served with the U.S. Army, and the Kansas Army National Guard. He retired with 29 years of service and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He was a life member the VFW Post 1654 of Chanute.
On May 7, 1983, he married Karen M. Marks in Chanute, KS.
He is survived by his wife, Karen, of the home; two daughters, Monica S. Beeson and husband Jeff and grandson Justin, of Collinsville, OK; Amy N. Cadman and husband Aaron and grandpets Biff and Tigger, of St. Louis, MO; two brothers, Alvie R. Willey and wife, Diana of Owasso, OK, Roy D. Willey and wife, Lela of Shamrock, OK; one special sister, Hazel M. Willey and Richard Russell of Sand Springs, OK.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Willey, and sisters Helen Linebaugh and Judy Fox.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Family suggests memorials to either the Chanute Veterans Memorial or Animal Aid of Tulsa, Inc., and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
