Arthur Lonnie Jaro Jr.'s Obituary
Arthur Lonnie Jaro, Jr., age 68, of Humboldt, KS passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016 in Chanute. Lonnie was born on July 27, 1948 in Stark, KS to Arthur Jaro, Sr. and Selma (Stevens) Jaro.
On October 15, 1967, Lonnie married Teresa Crump in Lowry City, MO. She survives him at their home.
Lonnie worked with CWA in Kansas City before moving to Humboldt with his wife in 1974. He spent 21 years working for Gates Corporation as a rubber extruder before retiring from Zachry Construction in 2010 where he worked as a millwright.
Lonnie served his country in Vietnam from 1968 – 1969 and was awarded several medals including the Bronze Star for his service. During his free time, Lonnie enjoyed some hunting and a lot of fishing, even holding the state record for spoonbill .

Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents and a step brother.
