Austin "Bud" Wade McCormick's Obituary
Austin “Bud” Wade McCormick, age 55, of Savonburg, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016 in Chanute, Kansas. Austin was born on May 10, 1960 in Sedan, KS to Paul Lee and Patricia Crystal (Loveland) McCormick.
On October 30, 1989, Austin married Debbie Marlene Morehead in Miami, OK. She survives him at their home.
Austin worked for many years as a heavy equipment mechanic. At home he was a handyman and a loving father and grandfather. He loved his dog Buddy like part of his family. Austin enjoyed motorcycles, especially trips to Sturgis and just traveling on his bike with his family and an RV. He was a member, and the Allen County representative, of the ABATE of Kansas motorcycle organization as well as a founding member of the Fine Upstanding Citizens of Kansas bike club. Austin was a member of the Anchor Worship Center in Chanute.

Austin was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Linda Hull, and a granddaughter Skye Berntsen.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial Service will be held at Countryside Funeral Home, Johnson Chapel on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home, Johnson Chapel.
