Beatrice Jo Ellison's Obituary
Beatrice Jo Ellison, 48, of Chanute passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, February 1, 2024. Beatrice was born on May 14, 1975, in McPherson, Kansas, the daughter of Larry Eugene and Charlotte May (Oneslager) Ellison.
Beatrice mostly grew up in Chanute and in 1993, she graduated from Junction City High School. Beatrice was a caretaker at heart, and she would put everyone before herself.
Beatrice also had a paper route with The Chanute Tribune for over 25 years and when she wasn’t busy delivering newspapers, Beatrice loved to go fishing. She was also a member of Verdigris Valley Christian Church in Altoona.
Beatrice is greatly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Beatrice is survived by her mother Charlotte Ellison of Chanute, KS, her son Charles Ellison and his fiancé Lacie of Chanute, KS, siblings: Lewis Ellison and his fiancé Lorissa of Chanute, KS, James Ellison (Ana) of Urich, MO, and Roxanne Maloney (Rick) of Bronson, KS, and one grandchild Riley.
