Becky Jean Ogden Connell's Obituary
Becky Jean Ogden Connell 61 of New Albany, KS passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Becky was born on November 16, 1958 in Wichita, KS the daughter of Raymond Howard and Phyllis Eileen (Busch) Gardner.
Becky worked as a Home Health Care provider. Becky loved to take long drives through the country and listen to music. She enjoyed going to the lake and was excited to be outside to enjoy the changes of each season. She enjoyed watching NASCAR, and KU basketball. Becky enjoyed talking to everyone and learning what was going on with everyone around her. She enjoyed traveling when she could. Most of all, Becky enjoyed being with her family and watching her grandchildren grow, and spending as much time as she could with her pets Max and Princess.
In the late 1970’s Becky married Russell Odgen and they later divorced. On February 14, 2009 in Wichita, KS she married Tommy C. Connell and he passed away on September 17, 2009.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tommy 2 infant children Shawn and April and brother Donnie Gardner
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 2, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia with Pastor Gene Benefiel officiating. Burial to follow at the Fredonia City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 4-6 PM at the funeral home. Memorials have been suggested to either Adopta-A-Family or the Fredonia Pound Pals and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
