Benny L Culbertson's Obituary
Benny Lynn Culbertson age 69, of Fredonia, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. Benny
was born on September 23, 1953, in Fredonia, KS the son of Orval “Shorty” and Otheal Evelyn
(Bennett) Culbertson.
Benny was a graduate of Fredonia High School class of 1972. After high school, Benny joined
the Army National Guard and served from 1972 until his honorable discharge in 1978. Benny
worked as a farmhand, the brickyard and most recently as grater operator for Wilson County.
Benny enjoyed visiting with friends and most importantly loved his family.

Kerry Traphagen (Chuck) of Fredonia, KS
11 Grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, along with Nieces and nephews.
Benny was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Steve and Joe, sisters Sharon, Phyllis,
Taffy, Theron and Minnie, Nephews Shane, and Audie Jansen
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 10:30 AM at the Fredonia City
Cemetery, visitation will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 5-7 at the funeral home. Online
condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com. Memorials are suggested to: Olathe
Health Hospice House or Fredonia Pound Pals and may be left with or mailed to the funeral
