Bernice E. Anderson's Obituary
Bernice E. Anderson, age 73, a resident of Grenola, Kansas passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010 at the William Newton Memorial Hospital in Winfield, Kansas. She was born on November 13, 1936 in Granite City, Illinois the daughter of Harry and Christine (Hogan) Lowder.
In 1951 Bernice was united in marriage to Harvey Anderson in Vancouver, Washington. Bernice was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, gardening and watching her favorite TV. programs.
Bernice is survived by her husband Harvey Anderson of the home, three daughters: Cindy Kiel and Dianna Langley both of Grenola, Kansas and Teresia Anderson of Gresham, Oregon, one son Glen Anderson of Gresham, Oregon, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Mike Langley, one brother and one sister.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Grenola, Kansas with Pastor Robin Haines officiating. Viewing will be held Tuesday from 3 to 5 pm at the funeral home. Family suggests contributions be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and may be left with the funeral home.
