Bessie A. Hime's Obituary
Bessie Alberta Hime, of Fall River, Kansas, age 93, died Sunday, March 28, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Fredonia. Bessie was born on Decemeber 2, 1916 in Fall River, Kansas the daughter of Edward Everett and Artelia Bell (McReynolds) Shinkle. Bessie was the oldest of 11 children.
Bessie attended Fall River High School, she was a member of the Fall River Methodist Church, the Sew and Sew Club, and the Fall River Senior Center. On May 24, 1934 Bessie married Norman Cecil Hime, they were married for 41 years until his death of June 12, 1975.

Norma Gay Jones of Fall River, Kansas
Marilyn Kay and husband Larry Deveney of Huntville, Texas
Two Sons:
Everett and wife Betty Hime of Idable, Oklahoma
Jerry and wife Nancy Hime of Wichita, Kansas
One Brother:
Larry Jo and wife May Shinkle of Haysville, Kansas
Four Sisters in Laws, and numerous nieces and nephews
15 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great-Great Grandchildren
Bessie was preceded in death by; parents, husband Norman, 2 sons: Lawrence “Brandy†and Jimmie Hime, 1 granddaughter, 1 grandson, 2 great grandchildren, 1 son in law, 5 brothers, Floyd, Max, Rex, Sherley, and Thurman Shinkle and 2 Sisters Velma and Thelma Shinkle.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday March 31, 2010 at the Fall River Methodist Church in Fall River, Kansas with Pastor Susan Galvan officiating, burial to follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery. There will be no visitation. The family suggests memorials to be to the Fall River Methodist Church and may be left with the funeral home.
