Betty Lee "Sis" Smith's Obituary
Betty Lee “Sis” Smith, age 78, of Moline, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 at her home in Moline, KS. Betty was born on February 6, 1938 in Curtis, OK the daughter of Edward Wayne and Dorothy Nadine (Weldon) Redd.
On September 20, 1987, Betty married Rodney Wayne Smith at the Moline Corner Cafe where she worked. Rodney preceded her in death on May 10, 2013.
Betty worked as an insurance agent for CC insurance. She loved to help people and often did so without taking any credit. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and enjoyed going to their ballgames whenever she could. In her free time, Betty enjoyed working in her garden.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rodney; a son: Travis Terry; a granddaughter: Sara; and a brother: Edward M. Redd.
A visitation will be held Countryside Funeral Home in Howard, KS on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held privately at the Moline City Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
