Betty Ann Standfast's Obituary
Betty Ann Standfast, 87 of Port Orange, Florida passed away December 31, 2018 at the home of her eldest son, in Deland, Florida. She was born in Reno County, Kansas on February 27, 1931 the daughter of Francis Marion Cunningham and Alpha Holmes.
On May 8, 1950, Betty was united in marriage to Joseph C “Jodie” Standfast. They lived in St Paul and Chanute, Kansas. He preceded her in death on September 1, 2012.
Betty owned Custom Made Drapes by Betty in Chanute, Kansas.
Upon the death of husband, Jodie, she lived in Port Orange, Florida for 5 years. She is survived by her sons, Joseph and wife Judy of Deland, Florida and Jamie Standfast of Port Orange, Florida ; daughter, Mary Beth Wells and her husband, Freddie of East Palatka; seven grandchildren, Lee Wells and his wife Fumiko, Joseph Michael Standfast, Virginia M. Wells, Tammy Anne Brophy and husband, Mike, Jody Ray Wells, Andrew Standfast and Steven Standfast; nine great-grandchildren, Amber and Tiffany Wells, Raymond Wells, Joseph Ballard, Raelyn Wells, Marijane Standfast, Hayden and Tanner Brophy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Russell, Ross, Logan and Ivan; and sisters, Maxine Funk and Bernice Allen.
Rosary will be recited on March 29 at 7 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Chanute, Kansas and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick, Chanute Kansas.
