Beulah Beatrice Huffman, passed on April 11,2019 at the age of 98 at Brookside Retirement Community in Overbrook, KS. She was born October 9,1920 at Las Animas, CO, daughter of Emile H. and Bessie (Kerfoot) Fildes.
She married Bernice McGlasson of Moline, KS August 15,1938. They were parents of two sons, William Boyd McGlasson and Herman Loyd McGlasson. Bernice was killed on June 7,1952 while working for the REA. After his death, she moved to Arkansas City, KS.
Beulah married Eldon Shaw of Arkansas City, KS on April 16,1954. They later moved to Newkirk, OK until his death on April 5,1999.
In 2000, she moved to Burlingame Senior Apartments. She married Charles Hufifinan of Burlingame, KS on April 20,2002. Charles passed away May 24,2006.
She enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, playing bingo and going to casinos.
Beulah was a life time member of the Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the First Baptist Church at Newkirk, OK.
Beulah is survived by two sons

Herman Loyd McGlasson (Connie) of Grantsville, UT
Two grandsons
Scott (Liz) McGlasson of Columbus, OH
Kirk (Nicole) McGlasson of Frisco, TX
Four great-grandchildren
Sierra, Jake, Morgan, and Jenna
Step-daughters
Lois Clover (Jake) of Arkansas City, KS
Marie Seastrom (Lee) of Topeka, KS
Betty Phillips (Bob) of Holton, KS
Dorothy Geisler (Rodney) of Topeka, KS
Several step grandchildren.
Beulah is also survived by sisters, Bonnie Phelan, Kremlin, OK, Betty Hayden, Wellington, KS and brother, Darrel Fildes, Ponca City, OK.
She was preceded in death by brothers, William Fildes and Raymond Fildes, sister, Darlene Stachura and grandson, Jay McGlasson.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 1:30 pm at the First Baptist Church in Moline, KS.
Interment will follow at Moline City Cemetery, Moline, KS.
Memorial contributions may be made to any of the following: First Federated Church of Burlingame, St. Croix Hospice, or Brookside Retirement Community Activities Fund.
