Beverly Anne Bush's Obituary
Beverly Anne Bush, 84 of Chanute Kansas passed away at KU Medical Center on Thursday, March 19, 2026. Cremation will take place under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home and no services are scheduled at this time. Beverly will be laid to rest with her husband at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
Beverly Anne was born the second eldest child of Robert and Ellen Price in Brooklyn, New York on January 8, 1942. She graduated from Garden Grove High School in Garden Grove, California in 1960. She then married James Bailey Sr in 1961. Through the years, Beverly worked as a manager at Country Inn and Suites in Phoenix, Arizona retiring in 2019. In 2025 she moved to Chanute, Kansas to be closer to her son. Beverly loved watch the Hallmark Channel, ensuring she never missed a Christmas movie. Beverly loved Christmas. She also enjoyed a frequent trip to the casino to have fun and visit with others.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Bailey Sr., daughter, Gloria Valles, sisters, Cheryl Ozenna, and Fern Haines, and parents, Robert and Ellen Price.
Survivors include her son, James (RoseMarie) Bailey Jr., and Steven (Sheila) Bailey, 8 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
