Beverly Ann Miller's Obituary
Beverly Ann Miller, 85, of Humboldt passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute. Beverly was born on January 23, 1938 in Moran, Kansas, the daughter of Lloyd Joseph and Fern Louise (Johnson) Wiggans.
Beverly grew up in Moran and Humboldt and attended the local schools. On March 5, 1972, Beverly married Eugene “Gene” Miller at First Baptist Church in Humboldt. Beverly and Gene were married for 25 years until Gene’s passing on May 22, 1997. Beverly was very active in the Humboldt community, and she was a member of the Virginia Circle, American Baptist Women, and the Biblesta Committee. History and genealogy were a big part of Beverly’s life and she used her knowledge and passion as a member of Cofachique DAR, the Humboldt Historical Society, and during Humboldt Civil War Days as a reenactor.
Beverly was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Humboldt and loved her church family. Beverly also loved her little dog, Romeo. Beverly will be missed by all who knew her.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Gene.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church in Humboldt with burial to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Humboldt. Memorials have been suggested to First Baptist Church Humboldt or Biblesta and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
