Billy Jay White's Obituary
Billy Jay White, 69, a resident of Fredonia, Kansas , formerly of Dodge City, Kansas, died Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at the Harry Hynes Hospice Center in Wichita, Kansas. He was born July 28, 1937, in Fredonia, Kansas the son of Art and Vina (Bumgarner)White. He had been employed as a mechanic for John Deere in various locations and also city maintenance in Rozel, Kansas, and was most recently employed by Flint Oak, in Fall River, KS.
On January 14, 1966 he married Donna Joan French, in Miami, Oklahoma. She preceeded him in death June 9, 2006.
Billy loved to hunt and fish in his free time.
Survivors include:
1-Son: Mark Hensen
2-Daughters: Reba Hensen
Sonya Hensen
1-Brother: Charles R. White of Neosho, MO.
His sister Patricia also preceeded him in death.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, May 11, 2006 at the Fredonia City Cemetery with Pastor Gary Sherman of the First Assembly of God Chuch officiating. There is no visitation at the request of the family. A memorial has been established in his name with the American Diabetes Association and may be sent to Countryside Funeral Home P.O.
