Bonita Ellen Ramsey's Obituary
Bonita Ellen Ramsey, age 87 passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at the Howard Twilight Manor in Howard, Kansas. She was born in Fall River, Kansas on November 4, 1923 the daughter of Frank Van Buren and Lillie May (Wormington) Knight.
On July 10, 1945 Bonita was united in marriage to Lloyd J. Justice in Howard, Kansas and he preceded her in death. She then married Homer Ramsey and he also preceded her in death. She resided in Idaho for 50 years. She moved to Kansas in 2000 after the death of her husband, Homer Ramsey. Bonita was a member of the Moline Christian Church.
Bonita is survived by her daughters Judy Owens of Jerome, Idaho and Beverly Roebuck of Moline, Kansas, two sisters in law Lucille Knight and Betty Knight, seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, one great great grandson and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son Arthur Justice, one daughter Lucille Justice, four brothers; Ernie Knight, Cleve Knight, Floyd Knight and Winford Knight and two sisters; Bernice Fiscus and Bertha Baumgartel
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday June 14 at Countryside – Zimmerman Funeral Home in Howard, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Moline Cemetery. Family suggests contributions to Flint Hills Assembly of God, Hospice Care of Kansas or Moline Christian Church and may be left with the funeral home.
