Bonnie and I eeere next door neighbors when we very young. We were playmates and good friends. My grandparents would come to visit my family and invite me to come home with them but I was a mamma’s a girl so Bonnie would go in my place! God bless the family ! I thought of you often.
Bonnie and Kelly would walk the rail road tracks with me from our house on First Street to the Ball Park and then walk back. We just enjoyed the talks and watching Kelly as he had to investigate everything along the way. We took turns throwing rocks in the lake counting the skips. I loved Cherryville life with my family. With Bonnie, Kelly, Steve and Mike, it just made for a perfect family to me. I will always have those memories.
I met her once, her son Kelly brought her to our house, whom we felt like we’ve known each other forever, very kind lady, and she talked about her family, RIP Bonnie, you will be missed by all your family.
