Bryan Lee Stitt's Obituary
Bryan Lee Stitt, age 54, of Thayer, KS, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014, at his home. Bryan was born the son of Stanley and Katherine (Modesitt) Stitt on August 10, 1959 in Neodesha, KS.
Bryan graduated from Thayer High School and then went on to play football at Cowley County Community College in Ark City, KS. He worked as a journeyman plumber for 30 years, until his retirement. Bryan was also a member of the Thayer Christian Church.
He is survived by his parents Stanley and Katherine, sons; Troy Eugen Stitt and Kyle Andrew Stitt both of Tulsa, OK, daughter; Nicole Lynn Stitt of Wichita, KS, brothers; Craig Allen Stitt of Kansas City, MO, and Roger Lynn Stitt of Wichita, KS and grandson; Dallas Stitt of Erie, KS
Bryan was preceded in death by his grandparents; Eugen Jerome (E.J.) and Iva Stitt, and Laverne and Marguerite Modesitt.
A graveside service will be held Friday, May 23, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Thayer Cemetery in Thayer, KS.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home Gibson Chapel in Chanute.
Memorials in his name may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and may be left with the funeral home.
