Buck was born June 19, 1934 in Welch, OK to Noah and Opal (Clark) Powell. He grew up alongside 7 siblings.

Buck enjoyed visiting with people, which he got to do daily. Whether he was traveling to all the businesses selling ads for the Caney Valley Antique Tractor Club, or working deals with ranchers to sell their cattle at the Fredonia Livestock Auction, he was loving every minute of it. In the 1960’s, Buck boarded horses, and participated in cutting horse events, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He was a huge rodeo fan, especially the National Finals Rodeo.
Whether you knew Buck as husband, dad, grandpa, uncle or friend, you knew he loved you and he will be missed greatly.
