C. Lodema Holderman's Obituary
C. Lodema Holderman, age 83, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2007 at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado, KS. She was born on September 30, 1924 to George and Edna Julia (Smith) Bunyard at Fall River, Kansas.
On March 26, 1949 she married Franklin Pierce Holderman in Wichita, KS., he preceded her in death November 13, 2002. Lodema was a graduate of Emporia Teachers College and taught in LaFountain, KS. Lodema and her husband Frank also owned and operated the Pawnee Furniture Store in Wichita. She was also a sales manager for Olin Mills, and worked as a cashier in various retail stores. In the late 1980’s Lodema and husband Frank moved to Eureka later moving to rural El Dorado with there son Larry.
Lodema enjoyed quilting, dancing with her husband and going to horse races. But most of all she loved being with her family.

Two Brothers: Edward Bunyard and wife Gwen Rosehill, KS
John Bunyard Leon, KS
4 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren
Lodema was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sons Gerald Holderman and Johnny Rex Kennon, and two sisters Pearl Vanderpool and Maude Wilmetta Burris
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at the Jefferson Street Baptist Church in Eureka, Kansas with Pastor Alan Hunter officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service time with burial at the Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the charity of your choice and may be sent to Countryside Funeral Home, P.O. Box 247, Fredonia, KS 66736.
