Calvin Clyde Conwell Jr.'s Obituary
Calvin Clyde Conwell, Jr., age 61, of Chanute, Kansas, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 in Chanute, Kansas. Calvin was born on February 21, 1955 in Manhattan, KS, the son of Calvin Clyde and Elsie Pauline (Murphy) Conwell.
Calvin served in the United States Army from 1973-1984. He attended a Vo-Tech School at Kansas State University where he learned the skills to be a lineman and was employed with the City of Chanute at the time of his death. Calvin was a good dad, loving grandfather, and a hard worker. In his spare time, he enjoyed shooting guns and was an avid car lover.

Calvin was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Jim Auld.
Cremation has been requested.
A visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Countryside Funeral Home – Johnson Chapel. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
