Cameron Reid Russell's Obituary
Reid Russell 17, of Howard passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from injuries due to an automobile accident. Reid was born on August 14, 1997 to Tom and Angela (Blanton) Russell in Houston, TX.
Reid was a student at West Elk High School where he had just completed his junior year. Reid was very outgoing and was active in numerous school activities. He played football, basketball and baseball. Reid was also an active member of FFA, FCCLA, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Reid was very active in the Howard community and enjoyed outdoor activities especially, fishing. He also played guitar and loved spending time with his friends. He worked during the summer in Oklahoma.
Reid is survived by his mother, Angie Russell. Brothers: Preston Jones, Dustin Russell and Garrett Perry. Sister: Monica Fouch. Grandmothers: Betty Russell and Phyllis Blanton. 3-nieces and 3-nephews.
Reid was preceded in death by his father Tom Russell and Grandfathers: Weldon Russell and Dees Blanton.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the West Elk High School with Dave Wetstone officiating. Interment will be at Grace Lawn Cemetery in Howard following the service.
