Carl Eugene Johnson's Obituary
Carl Eugene Johnson, age 84, of Humboldt, KS, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 at his home. He was born on July 21, 1933 in Humboldt, KS, the son of Clarence and Alta (Phillips) Johnson.
On August 30, 1952, Carl married Frances Lee Scott in Independence, KS. She preceded him in death on July 29, 1998. He later married Audrey Fitzmaurice and she survives him.
Carl worked as a tree trimmer for many years, then Broyles Inc., and retired from Consolidated Oil Company. He was a loving dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa. In his spare time, Carl loved to garden and spent numerous hours on woodworking projects in his workshop, even building rocking chairs for each of his grandchildren.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, George Landsdown; wife of 46 years, Frances Lee Johnson; daughter, Sheila Marie Johnson; and brother, Franklin Johnson.
Cremation has been requested. A private family service will be held at a later date.
