I just heard about Carl's passing. Knowing how very much Carl loved his family, my first thought was of Lavada, Tim, Danny, and their families. I pray for comfort and love to surround them at this time. My second thought was of Jamey greeting him in Heaven - and that made me smile!! RIP. Carl - and thanks for always treating me so well!!
The final bell has sounded and Carl is responding to the call.

We all traveled a lot of miles and made a lot of memories together that I will always cherish. I can still see the big pile of chicken bones after eating all of those chicken legs in Washington DC. Lol
I can picture all of the family welcoming you to Heaven. Tell my Roy that I miss him.

I am so sorry to hear of Carl’s passing. I thank God for brave men like him who faithfully serve our country and put themselves in harm’s way so we all can enjoy the bountiful pleasures of a free life. I pray you can all find comfort in knowing that he lived a full life and is no longer suffering from any ailments whatsoever. I have enjoyed so many family get togethers and I know he will be greatly missed. He was an accepting, friendly and warm individual, always cheerfully greeting everyone with a welcoming smile and a hug. As he made each of us feel special, so will we all carry forward in our hearts and minds the special memories we have of him. Thus, he will not be forgotten but instead treasured throughout our lives for his caring ways. May you feel the love of God, family and friends today and the days ahead as you grieve the loss of your husband, father, grandfather and friend.
