Carol June Cox's Obituary
Carol June “Grandma Red†Cox, age 76, of Fredonia, Kansas, died Sunday, November 27, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Fredonia. Carol was born on November 25, 1935 in Fredonia, Kansas to John Wesley and Estella Pearl (Newland) Hardy.
In 1953 Carol was married to Lee White and they were later divorced, she then married Lee Cox. Carol who was a Lifetime Member of the V.F.W. Ladies Aux., which she was very active in. She also was a member of the Eagles and had served in the past as the State Secretary.
Carol was well known and will be sadly missed by her family and numerous friends.

Larry Dalton of Colorado Springs, Colorado
11 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, brother; Dwight (Bud) Hardy
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 10:00 A.M.
at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia, with Chaplain Mike Graham officiating, with burial to follow at the Fredonia City Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday November 30, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials have been suggested to either Harry Hynes Hospice or VFW Ladies Aux, and may be left with the funeral home.
