Carol Sue Jacobsen's Obituary
Carol Sue Jacobsen, age 54, a resident of New Albany, Kansas passed away Friday morning on May 8, 2009 at her residence. She was born on September 25, 1954 in Claremore Oklahoma, the daughter of Harlan and Bonnie (Rouse) Randall.
Carol was a graduate of Lawrence High School; she was united in marriage to James Jacobsen on September 15th, 1979 in New Albany, Kansas. They were married for 29 years.
Carol enjoyed playing Bingo, and watching Hummingbirds. She also loved to mow the lawn, and grow tomatoes. Carol was known by many as she assisted them with their home health care needs, she loved to visit with senior citizens and help them in any way she could. She was considered to be a good friend, loving mother and wife.

Josh and Jeremy Jacobsen of the home.

Mary Willis – Wichita, Kansas
One Brother:
Darrell Randall – South Haven, Mississippi
Carol was preceded by her parents, Harlan and Bonnie.
Funeral services will be held at 10: 00 am on Tuesday May 12, 2009 at Countryside Funeral Home with Pastor Susan Galvan officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-6 pm on Monday May 11, 2009, burial to follow at the Jackson Cemetery north of New Albany. The family suggests memorials to the New Albany Methodist Church and may be left in care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.countrysidefh.com.
