Carolyn Sue Nicewaner's Obituary
Carolyn Sue Nicewaner, age 79 of Chanute, KS, passed away on November 29, 2018 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. She was born on November 7, 1939 in Parsons, KS, the daughter of John L. and Virginia L. (Coff) Overby. Carolyn married Gene Nicewaner on January 22, 1970 in Miami, Oklahoma.
Carolyn was a hard worker and worked as a secretary for several different businesses. She loved sports especially, Nascar, the Royals, Chiefs and the KU Jayhawks. She also enjoyed putting puzzles together, reading and making everyone laugh; she was always the life of the party. Carolyn was known for making noodles and was said to have the best noodles in the world. She was a member at Otterbein United Methodist Church and enjoyed volunteering her time to the church. Carolyn will be missed by her family and friends.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband and a sister Brenda Nelson.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home Johnson Chapel 101 N. Highland in Chanute. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Otterbein United Methodist Church in Chanute. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
