Chad Michael Klauman's Obituary
Chad Michael Klauman, 22, of Pittsburg, KS, formerly of Chanute, KS passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017. He was born on April 5, 1995 to Chad A. Klauman and Beth (Smith) Friend in Chanute.
Chad was a perfectionist who had a smile that won’t be forgotten by all who knew him. He grew up attending races with his parents at Humboldt Speedway and developed a love for fast cars. Chad was a talented and determined wrestler through junior high and high school before graduating from Chanute High School in 2013. He enjoyed bow fishing, hunting, shooting pool, and got involved in playing softball after graduation. Chad had attended Pittsburg State University and was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma. He was described as “inspirational” and was always willing to help anyone in need. Chad will be forever missed by his parents, siblings, family, and many friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home Johnson Chapel. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Otterbein United Methodist Church in Chanute, KS. Memorials have been suggested to the Chad Michael Klauman Memorial Fund and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to: Countryside Funeral Home 101 N.
