I'm so sorry to hear of Charlene's passing. She was such a wonderful neighbor. Everytime I was outside she would take the time to say hi and wave. If I was lucky, I would have time to sit on her front porch and chat. She would tell me stories about her younger years and I loved it. When my youngest son would spot me across the street he would join us, going right through her perfect grass. (Her grass was the envy of the neighborhood. ) I would apologize and she would say, he's fine, he can't hurt it, it's just grass. She loved all the neighbor kids. When I moved I knew I would be missing out on lots of great conversations and the best advice about life. She was an amazing woman and will be missed.
