Charles "Bussy" Brown's Obituary
Charles “Bussy†Brown, age 81, a resident of Fredonia Kansas, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at his residence in Fredonia. He was born June 5, 1927 in Altoona, Kansas to Samuel and Selma (Myers) Brown.
He was united in Marriage to Pauline Marie Boster on October 23, 1948 in Altoona Kansas at the Methodist parsonage. They were married for 60 years, until his death.
Charles worked for Lafarge Cement Corporation in Fredonia for 30 years, until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of the Masons Lodge #95 in Fredonia. Charles was a huge motorcycle enthusiast. He had his first ride when he was 12 years old, but did not own one until after he retired when he then bought 2 different Hondas. He loved giving rides on them to whoever wanted one. Charles and his wife enjoyed travelling all over on their annual vacations.

One Daughter: Janice C. Lewis and her spouse Ronald of Reno Nevada.
1 Grandchild: Jason Lewis and his wife Brenda, and 2 Great Grandchildren, Evelyn and Jenna Lewis.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Selma Brown, and his brother Billy Brown.
Graveside Services will be held Monday, December 1, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Altoona City Cemetery, with viewing just prior to service with Pastor Jim Bell officiating. The family suggests memorials to the Gold Dust Hotel and may be left with the funeral home at the time of service.
